William BANKIER HENDERSON
William Bankier Henderson (1903–1993) was a British painter of still lifes, landscapes, and colonial Indian scenes. He served as ADC to Lords Linlithgow and Wavell and painted Viceroy’s House, New Delhi in 1945. He gifted that work to Earl Wavell. His paintings featured at the Redfern Gallery and sold at Christie’s and Bonhams.
