Welcome to IMAGO DEI, a gallery dedicated to the exploration and celebration of the male figure and body in art, across all techniques (painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, engraving…) and periods (from antiquity to the present day).

At IMAGO DEI, we understand masculinity as a dynamic and multifaceted concept, encompassing strength and vulnerability, personal identity, sensuality, and eroticism. We do not shy away from, nor censor, erotic and pornographic works that, throughout different periods, have reflected the diverse and varied icons of homoerotic imagery.

With this aim, IMAGO DEI, in addition to offering collectors works from its own collection and/or on consignment from private collections, regularly hosts exhibitions in Madrid and Barcelona to promote the public’s awareness of these artworks.
