François KOLLAR
François Kollar (1904–1979) was a Slovak-born French photographer renowned for his industrial, fashion, and advertising photography. After moving to Paris in 1924, he worked at the Draeger printing company before establishing his own studio in 1930. Kollar gained acclaim with his series La France travaille (1931–1934), documenting French labor across various industries. His innovative techniques and compelling compositions significantly influenced 20th-century photography.
