Raymond DEPARDON
Raymond Depardon (b. 1942) is a French photographer, photojournalist, and documentary filmmaker. He began taking photographs on his family’s farm at age 12 and later co-founded the Gamma photo agency in 1966. Depardon joined Magnum Photos in 1979 and is renowned for his humanist approach to both photography and film. His work spans conflict zones, rural life, and institutional settings, often employing a cinéma vérité style.
